Our story

I built Globetrotting Dodo because, for most of my life, I never quite felt like I belonged.

Travel changed that.

And I know I’m not the only one.

What we believe

Belonging, psychological safety and autonomy guide everything we build.

Belonging
Creating spaces where you realise you're not the only one who experiences the world this way.
Psychological Safety
Making travel feel more accessible through honest information, thoughtful design and environments that reduce unnecessary stress.
Autonomy
We don't believe there's one right way to travel. Our role isn't to tell people what they should do, but to give them the information, tools and confidence to make choices that fit who they are.

Who we're building for

Today, we’re building primarily for neurodivergent adults and people with invisible disabilities — travellers whose needs are still too often overlooked.

We’re starting here because we believe meaningful inclusion begins by designing with the people who face the greatest barriers in mind. When we do that well, everyone benefits.

Our ambition is to build a community where more people — regardless of diagnosis or label — can find meaningful connection with themselves, with others, and with the world around them.

Different stories.

The same human need.

To feel understood. To feel safe.To feel like you belong.

That’s why Globetrotting Dodo exists. Not simply as another travel platform, but as a community where people who experience the world differently can find each other, share honest experiences, and explore the world without feeling they need to become someone else first.

If our story resonates with you, we’d love to welcome you.
